1ST ROUND: Ch 10, join with a sl st into a ring, ch 5, 1 tr (thread twice around hook for a tr) into ring, * ch 1, 1 tr into ring; repeat from * 17 more times, ch 1, a sl st in 4th st of first ch 5 at beginning of round (there are 20 spaces in round).

2ND ROUND: A sl st in space formed by next st of same chain, ch 7, 1 tr in same space as si st, * work a V st of (1 tr, ch 3 and 1 tr) in next (ch 1) space; repeat from * around, end with a sl st in 4th st of first ch 7 of round.

3RD ROUND: A sl st in next chain loop (formed by remaining sts of same chain), ch 7, 1 tr in same chain loop as sl st, * work a V st of (1 tr, ch 3 and 1 tr) in (ch 3) loop of next V st; repeat from * around, end with a sl st in 4th st of first ch 7.
