Doily measures approximately 6 inches in diameter.

MATERIALS: HIAWATHA Super Crochet Twist Art. 46 - 1 tube for 6 doilies

Steel crochet hook No. 4

Starting at center, ch 6. Join with sl st into ring.

1st rnd - Ch 3, 17 dc in ring. Join with sl st to top of ch-3.

2nd rnd-Ch 1, then working in back loops only, work *sc in next 2 sts, 2 sc in next st. Repeat from * around (24 sc). Join with sl st in 1st sc.

3rd rnd - Ch 1, sc in back loop only of next 3 sts, *ch 12, turn, skip last sc made, sl st in next sc, turn, in ch-12 loop work sc, h dc, 7 dc, h dc, sc, ch 5, sc, h dc, 7 dc, h dc, and sc; work sc in back loop only of next 4 sts. Repeat from * around (6 petals), ending with sc after last petal. SI st in 1st sc of rnd. Fasten off.

4th rnd - Attach thread in ch-5 loop at tip of any petal. Ch 8, dc in same loop, *ch 3, make a cross st as follows: Thread over hook twice, skip 4 sts, insert hook in next st and draw loop through, thread over and draw through 2 loops on hook, thread over, insert hook in corresponding st on next petal and draw loop through, (thread over and draw through 2 loops on hook) 4 times; ch 5, dc in center of cross st, ch 3, dc in next ch-5 loop, ch 5, dc in same loop. Repeat from * around. Join with sl st to 3rd st of starting ch-8.

5th rnd - Sl st in space, ch 4, 3 tr in same space, *ch 3, 4 tr in same space, 4 tr in next space. Repeat from * around. Join and fasten off.
