lst rnd: 30 sc in ring, join with sl st.

2nd rnd: * ch 1, sk 1 sc, 1 sc in next st, repeat from * around, join.

3rd rnd: Ch 4, 1 dc in joining st, * 1 dc over next ch 1, ch 2, 1 dc in same st, repeat from * around, join in 3rd st of ch 4, sl st under ch 2 of 1st group.

4th rnd: Ch 4, 1 dc in same group, ch 2, 1 dc in next group ch, ch 2, 1 dc in same group, continue around with groups of 2 dc, with ch 2 between in same sp, and ch 2 between groups, (15 groups) join around with sl st in 3rd ch of ch 4, sl st to center of 1st group.

5th rnd: Ch 3, 1 dc in same group, ch 2, 2 dc in same group, * ch 1, 2 dc in next group ch 2, 2 dc in same group, repeat from * around ch 1, join in 3rd ch of ch 4, sl st back into last ch 1.

6th rnd: * ch 2, 1 hdc, 1 dc, 1 tr c, 1 dc, 1 hdc in center of 1st group, ch 2, 1 sc in ch 1 between groups, repeat from * around, join in sc with sl st.

7th rnd: Sl st over to center of scallop, ch 13, 1 dc in center of next scallop, * ch 10, 1 dc in center of next scallop, repeat from * around, join with sl st in 3rd ch of ch 13 at beginning. Sl st over 3 ch of 1st ch loop.

8th rnd: Ch 4, 1 dc in same st, * ch 2, sk 4 ch, 1 dc in next st, ch 2, 1 dc in same st, ch 2, sk last 2 ch on same loop, and sk 2 ch on next loop, 1 dc in next st, ch 2, 1 dc in same st, repeat from * around, ending with ch 2, sl st in 3rd ch of 1st group, sl st to center of group.

9th rnd: Ch 3, 1 dc in same group, ch 2, 2 dc in same group, * ch 1, 2 dc in next group, ch 2, 2 dc in same group, repeat from * around, join with sl st in top of ch 3.

10th rnd: Sl st to center of 1st group, ch 4, 1 dc, 1 tr c, 1 d tr c, 1 tr c, 2 dc, with ch 1 between each st, all in same group, * ch 1, 1 sc in next group, ch 1, 2 dc, 1 tr c, 1 d tr c, 1 tr c, 2 dc, with ch 1 between each st, all in same group, repeat from * around, join in 3rd st of ch 4.

11th rnd: Sl st to center of 1st scallop, ch 12, 1 sc in top of next scallop, repeat these ch loops around, join.

12th rnd: 16 sc over 1st ch loop, 6 sc over next ch loop, turn, ch 12, sl st in 6th sc of last finished loop, turn, 16 sc in ch loop, just made, 10 sc to finish next loop * 6 sc in next loop, turn, ch 12, sl st in 6th sc, of last loop, turn, 16 sc in loop just made, 10 sc to finish next loop, repeat from * around, ending with sl st over 6 sts of every 1st loop made, turn, ch 12, sl st in 6th st of last loop, turn, 16 sc in loop just made, sl st in next st.

13th rnd: Turn, sl st back over 4 sc of last loop, ch 5, turn, * work 1 cross st down between the two high loops, ch 1, sk 4 sc on next loop, 1 tr c with ch 1 between, in each of next 8 sc on loop, ch 1, sk 4 sc on same loop, repeat from * around, working 7 tr c in last loop, (the ch 5 answering for the 8th tr c), join with sl st in 4th st of ch 5.

14th rnd: Ch 4, 1 dc in ch 1 after last scallop of 8 tr c, ch 1, 1 dc over ch 2 of cross st, ch 1, 1 dc over next ch 1, continue around with 1 dc over each ch 1 of last rnd, and ch 2 of cross st, with ch 1 between each dc.

15th and 16th rnds: 1 dc over each ch 1, with ch 1 between each dc, join each row with sl st in 3rd st of ch 4.

17th rnd: * ch 25, sk 3 sps, sc in 4th sp, ch 25, sc in same sp, ch 26, sc in same sp, ch 25, sc in same sp, repeat from * around, ending with 3 loops of 25 ch in same st as the 1st ch 25.

18th rnd: Sl st to center 1st ch 25, * ch 3, 1 sc in next ch loop, repeat from * around; join.

19th rnd: Ch 5, 1 dc over 1st ch 3, * ch 3, 1 dc over next ch 3, repeat from * around, join in ch 3 of ch 5.

20th rnd: Same as 19th rnd.

21st rnd: Sl st in 1st sp, * ch, 7, cl. of 3 d tr c in next sp, ch 7, 1 sc in next sp, repeat from * around.

22nd rnd: Sl st to center of ch loop, ch 7, 1 tr c in next loop, ch 4, 1 tr c in same loop, * ch 5, 1 tr c in next loop, ch 4, 1 tr c in same loop, repeat from * around.

23rd rnd: Sl st-to center of 1st group, ch 7, sc back in 5th ch, ch 7, sc back in 5th st, ch 2, this forms 1 picot mesh, sc in next group, continue picot mesh in each group around, work 4 more rnds of picot mesh.

28th rnd: Begin the scallops on this rnd, ch 9, sc in center of next picot mesh, work * 3 picot meshes, ch 9, repeat from * around.

29th rnd: Sl st over 4 of ch 9, ch 8, work 6 d tr c with ch 1 between each d tr c all in 5th ch of plain ch loop, * ch 6, 1 sc in center of picot meshes of previous rnd, work two picot meshes, ch 6, 7 d tr c with ch 1 between, in 5th ch of plain ch loop, repeat from * around, ending with ch 6, join in top of ch 8.

33rd rnd: Ch 5, * form clusters of 3 tr c, in each sp of scallops, with ch 4 between each cluster and between scallops ch 6, 1 d tr c in small ch loop, ch 6, repeat from * around.

34th rnd: Ch loops of 6 chs, around.

35th rnd: Ch loops of 8 chs around.

36th rnd: Ch loops of 9 chs around.

37th rnd: Ch loops of 10 chs around.

For small doily use # 30 Cordichet and work rounds 1-11 of large doily - then 1 rnd of dc, ch 2, skip 2, 1 dc, then rounds 21-26 of large doily.
