Use ROYAL SOCIETY CORDICHET No. 3012, size 3, 8 baIls. Crochet Hook, size 6

1st Row.-Ch. 6, join to ring, 15 d.c. into ring, join with sl st.

2nd Row.-Ch. 3, 2 d.c. into each st., join.

3rd Row.-Ch. 3, 2 d.c. into first st., 1 d.c. into next st., 2 d.c. into following st., 1 d.c. into next ch., continue around, join.

4th Row.-Ch 3, 2 d.c. into first st., 1 d.c. into each of 2 next sts., 2 d.c. into following st., 1 d.c. into each of 2 next sts., continue around, join.

Into each of 7 following rows increase 15 d.c. the same way as in 4th row, always having 1 more st in between the increasing.

12th Row.-Ch. 3, 1 d.c. into each st., taking up back rib, join.

13th Row.-Ch. 8, sk. 1 * 3 tr c finished together into 3 next sts., ch. 4, sk. 1, repeat from * around. For last group of tr c, Join 2 trc to 4th ch. from beginning.

14th Row.-6 s.c. around first ch. 4, 5 s.c. around next ch. 4, turn, ch. 9, sk. 9, 1 s.c., turn, 13 s.c. around ch. 9, 1 s.c. around same ch. 4, 6 s.c. around next ch. 4, repeat from * around, Join.

15th Row.-Ch. 11, 1 s.c. into 7th st. of first loop, * ch. 5, 1 d.tr.c. into st. between the loops, ch. 5, 1 s.c. into 7th st. of next loop, repeat from * around. Join last ch. 5 to 6th ch. from beginning.

16th Row.-7 s.c. around first ch. 5, 7 s.c. around next ch. 5, * 5 s.c. around next ch 5, turn, oh. 9, sk. 9, 1 s.c., turn, 13 s.c. around ch. 9, 2 s. c. around same ch..5, 7 s.c. around next ch 5, repeat from * around. When 7 s.c. around last ch 5 are made, make 5 sl.sts into following chs., turn, ch. 9, sk. 9. 1 s.c., turn, 13 s.c. around ch. 9, 2 sl sts. into following 2 sts.

17th Row.-Ch.12, 1 s.c. into 7th st. of first loop, * ch. 6, 3 d tr c, into st. between loops, ch 6, 1 s.c. into 7th st. of next loop, repeat from * around. Join last ch. 6 to 6th ch. from beginning.

18th Row.-- 8 s.c. into each hole all around, join.

19th Row.- 12 s.c., * turn, sk. 1, 41 s.c., turn, sk 1, 20 s.c., ch. 7, 3 s.c. into following sts., turn, 11 d.c. around ch. 7, sk. 2 s.c., 4 sl sts., turn, 2 tr.c. into first d.c., 1 tr.c. into next d.c., 2 trc., 1 tr.c., 2 trc., 5 trc., 2 trc., 1 trc., 2 tr.c., 1 tr.c., 2 trc. into following sts., sk 3 s.c., 3 sl sts., turn, ch. 2, sk 1 tr.c., 1 d.c., ch. 2. sk. 1, 1 d.c., continue until 5 holes are made, ch. 5, 1 d.c. into same, ch 2, repeat the 5 holes on other side,. Join last ch. 2 to 3rd following s.c. 4 sl.sts. into following sts., turn, ch. 1, 3 tr.c. finished together into first hole, ch. 3. 3 trc. finished together into next hole, ch. 3 and continue into center hole, 3 trc. finished together, ch. 5, 3 trc. finished together.

Continue for other side.

After last group of trc. join to 5th following s.c., turn, 1 s.c. around ch 1, 4 s.c. around each ch. 3, 7 s.c. around ch. 5 at center, 1 s.c. around last ch 1. 1 sl st into next s.c., turn, 1 s.c. into next s.c., ch. 5, sk. 3, 1 s.c., ch. 5, sk. 3, 1 s.c., continue around (12 loops of ch. 5 in all), 2 s.c. into 2 last s.c., 3 sl sts. into 3 following s.c., turn, ch. 4, 1 s.c. around next ch. 5, ch. 4, 1 s.c. around next ch. 5, repeat four times more. To form point ch 7 instead of ch. 4.

Continue for other side. Join last ch. 4 to 3rd following s.c. 1 sl st. into next st., turn, 5 s.c. around each ch. 4, 9 s.c. around ch. 7, continue around 1 sl.st. into following s.c. turn. 1 s.c. into each st., 3 s.c. into center st. at point, 1 sl st. into each of 2 following s.c. , turn 33 s.c. into sts., ch. 3, 1 tr.c. into same as last s.c., 1 d.c., 1 s.c., 1 d.c., 1 trc.. into following sts., turn. .5 s.c. into sts., turn, 5 s.c , turn.

Continue until 41 rows of 5 s.c. are made, fold band of these forms and join last row to first row of 5 s.c. with 5 sl sts. so joining is on left side, ch. 3, 1 s.c. into same as last tr.c., 1 s.c. into each of 32 following s.c., 2 sl sts. Into 2 next sts. Into following sts. of previous row 42 s.c. Repeat from * 7 times more.

Into front rib between 11th and 12th row 1 s.c. into each st. to form bottom of bag.
