Hello
I have finally gotten around to scanning some of the photos I have. Eventually I'll
get them all done. If you have come to this page by accident it will probably be boring
for you. If you are family or friend I hope you enjoy viewing the photos and remembering.
If you have any family photos that you would like to share with us
and have a scanner, just scan them in and email them to me or you can post them to this
site yourself. Email me and I will tell you how. This is a free site and only allows
us 20MB of space, which is quite a bit but photos take a lot of room, so I will try to
post as many as possible. I am still working on our family tree and will be adding that to
this site eventually, but I would like to have at least one picture of every family member
so that it can be included with their individual family tree. I'll have an example up
soon.
If you see a photo that you would like a copy of this is how you save images to your own
computer. First I suggest making a new folder, that way you have a place to save the photo
to and won't have to search your entire hard drive looking for it. To save to your
computer ... right click with your mouse on the image (photo) and then click "save
image as" or "save picture as" make sure when you save it that it's in the
folder you want it in. I also suggest that you rename the photo. I have just numbered them
to make it easier when scanning and saving. So the pictures are in no particular order.
Usually it's how they were in the photo album, but some of them I will try to group
together.
If you have any comments or stories to tell about any of the pictures email me and I
will post it to this site, I would especially like it if any of you could name the people
in the pictures that I don't have anything next to or correct my attempt at naming and
dating. Also feel free to let me know what you think about this page ... good or bad... I
would like this to be a family page, so you all have a say in what goes up here. I am only
putting older pictures up here, if you have newer (more recent) pictures you would like to
share please feel free to post them at the Morgan-Byrd My Family site. It requires a
log-in and while it is not totally secure it is a little more secure than this site is.
