15. Henry Thomas Doust

Henry Thomas DOUST was, at 14 years old, a "striker"for a blacksmith building
the Blackwood River bridge. Tin miner at Greenbushes. Farmer, "Winnijup",
Spring Hill (Nelson Dist.) 1890 until his death. Member of the Upper
Blackwood Roads Board 1915-1918. Life Member an President Agricultural
Society. Member 1949. JP. C/E.

William Campbell Forrest

Dairy farmer, "Beechborough" Ludlow. Member of Busselton Show Committee.
Served term as President of Southern Dists. Agricultural Society. Member of
Land Board for Group Settlement Scheme. He leased out their farm for some
years. Retired to Busselton. Educated at Nannup and then Briggs' Fremantle
Grammar School.
