I’ve always loved music. Blues, Bluegrass, Folk, Rock, Classical, Punk…. If it sounds good to me, then so be it. I believe that music is essential to living. I have tried my hand at several instruments and styles of music. Harmonica, guitar, and mandolin are the three instruments I play most often. I also love to beat the drums. As my friend Dylan says “It’s hard to get up from playing the drums and feel bad!” If I had to make a list of things that are most important to me it would go something like this: My wife, family, friends, art/photography, music, and fly fishing (Feelin’ Zen!). I love to set in at open mics, mostly doing accompaniment on the harp or mandolin. Writing music has always been a love of mine, too. Most of the songs I write are written in one setting, music and lyrics all at once, and vary on theme and style.
