Other:

Laura was purchased from a FB friend to inject both Appaloosa and DW into our lines.
Since both parents are Appendixed KSMH Laura is Main Book Eligible and she has been Approved by the Registry.

As a pure Appaloosa she can be crossed on NzP studs for NzP foals. All her foals will be at least AKMH eligible.
All her foals will have Leopard Complex.

Genetic notes:

Snowcap + Snowcap = homozygous LP.
Both Splash and Snowcap can cause a white tail. Her Splash-type marks are from DW.
Her DW is most likely either W10 (AQHA) or W20 (widespread, located 2013).

Congenital Stationary Night Blindness is a genetic disorder carried on the Leopard Complex gene (LP). All Appaloosa marked horses will be at least carriers for the condition and horses which are homozygous (Fewspot and Snowcap) will be affected. A horse affected by CSNB will be functionally blind in dark areas, such as dim stables and arenas, and at night. Other than the natural risks involved with having a blind horse, CSNB horses bear no other negative health effects from the disorder.

*Note: we have her file, but due to Winter hiatus and move of our game files she has not yet been imported to our game.
