It hurts when you get your heart broken, but what hurts even more is when you are holding onto something that isn't there.  Basically what that is saying, is that it hurts when your boyfriend or whatever breaks your heart, but what hurts even more is when you fall in love with someone and you know that nothing will happen between you two because that other person doesn't have any feeling for you.

Though I have been through a lot in my life, that is one line that I happen to use a lot.  I have been hurt many times before and have had a lot of bad relationships in the past, and things still aren't going well for me.  I am still looking but not finding anything.  Well, let me restate that, I am finding people, they just aren't liking me for some reason.  If you already know me, you will know that I am very pessimistic and I am always looking down on myself.
