this is one i just started... a friend of mine told me about it
this is outbound calling... it is to get people to renew subscriptions, pay for subscriptions they already have or to get people back who have canceled subscription..
great thing about them for many reasons
1. instead of saying i am going to work such and such date at such and such time you tell them i am going to work for so many hours on tuesday... then it does not matter when you work the time on tuesday so if something comes up you are able to make up for it through out the day which is awesome
2. direct deposit
3. paid training $7 per for 7 hours of training even if it only takes you 4 or 5 hours you still get the the 7 hours paid
4. its hourly pay $7, $9 and $11 per hour depending on which program you are dialing for plus you get commission so your garunteed $7 per hour
which is awesome (the commision is $3 per sale in which the customer
pays in full for the subscription & $5 if you get them to do the flex plan
which allows the newspaper to automatically bill them every month to
there credit card) NOW MY TRAINER TOLD ME THAT PEOLE ARE ON AVERAGE MAKING 8-11 SALES PER 4 HOUR SHIFT... SOOOOO THAT IS VERY GOOD MONEY IF YOU DO THE MATH ... SHOOT EVEN IF YOU JUST MAKE ONE SALE PER HOUR ON A $7 PER HOUR FILE YOU ARE MAKING 10 BUX AN HOUR AND IF ANYTHING AT LEAST YOU ARE MAKING 7 BUX PER HOUR WHICH IS BETTER THAN SOME JOBS WHERE THEY PAY HIGHER TALK MINUTE BUT YOU NOT GARUNTEED THE TALK TIME
5. they take taxes out for you...
6. Now your first week of training is 7 per hour for 7 hours, your second week of training which is your first week of live dialing you work 10 hours, and your third week of training which is the final week of training you work 12 hours.
After that training is done and you schedule your hours they give you like 40 files+ to work with per hour. So if you say you are going to work for 3 hours on Tuesday they will give you 120 files to work with. If at the end of your 3 hours you still have extra files that are not completed (which you definantly will) and your contacts are good you can work more hours...
So even though you schedule 3 hours you can work 4 if you have the extra time ...
7. Another thing there is no cap on hours if you want to work 50 hours a week you can however you have to put in at least 12 hours which is a piece of cake
8. You can work in 15 minute increments through out the day which is great for the stay at home parent if you see your child is occupied log in for 15 minutes real quick and earn some cash and since you dont have to schedule exact timing that makes it convient for us parents
9.I just wanted to update everyone Its now been oh a little over 5 weeks now and I am currently averaging minimum $8.50 per hour most of the time my weekly average comes to about $9.50-$10 per hour. Update as of 6/24/04
i think this is awesome company its been around for about 10 years good with the better business bureau
