How do I tell the world about Vincent?
There are no words grand enough no words strong enough, yet gentle enough, serious enough, yet humorous enough.
Vincent possessed perhaps the greatest sense of humor of all time.
He could find humor in any situation and it was generous, kind and infectious.
He had an open mind and a wonderful open heart.
He could draw people to him and change enemies into close friends, because his nature was forgiving.
Vincent gathered people to his home, with his love for cooking, entertaining and music.
He loved decorating and did it so well, with his own artistic flair.
He was a computer whiz even before it was fashionable, He loved anything electrical,
I remember fondly, his wiring hidden speakers in the bathrooms, at the ripe old age of seven.
He had these wonderful, affectionate nicknames for everyone including himself, Venessa to his friends.
Vincent was sharp and witty, but aside from his whit,
I think his greatest assets were his courage and strength.
These he seemed to be able to pass on to others,
Making them realize things were not as bad as they seemed.
His strength remained undaunted, and his resiliency was unbelievable.
Vincent loved to move and to travel, wanting to see and taste everything that was available.
He had an enthusiasm for life and lived every moment to the fullest!
Perhaps he always knew he would have a short time to accomplish so very much.
I once tried to find things that I might change about Vincent and could find none;
I loved him by circumstance, but liked him by choice.
He was truly The Wind Beneath My Wings,
Instilling in me his wonderful; "Yes I can attitude". I was better because he loved me.
I too shall live every moment to its fullest,
Borrowing everyday, from Vincent's courage and strength,
Thanking him for the legacy he has left me.
