I won't be back to our condo until April, but thought that I would add a useful tip to my blog. If you like Pier Park as much as I do, you can now download a map of the stores. This may come in useful before you head out the door so you know where would be a good place to park and where the different attractions, stores and restaurants are. We always make a point of heading to Pier Park on our trip. We only window shop, but we LOVE to go to the restaurants for dinner and take turns ordering an appetizer and a drink. The appetizers end up being our meal for the night as we all share in each appetizer ordered. Hit 5 restaurants and we are ready to head home. Of course, we take the tram or a cab back, lol

Remodeling our Sunbird Kitchen

We decided to remodel our kitchen last week. Was hoping to get it done in one week. Thank goodness one of my other brothers came with as I don't think it would have got done in time otherwise. We arrived late Saturday night and Sunday enjoyed the sun, surf and football. Work to start

1. Monday. Cabinets arrived around 8:10 am and that is when demolition began. Here is my brother that came to help out removing the old cabinets.

2. On Tuesday all cabinets and counters were removed. Already wondering if this would get done in time.

3. On Wednesday, Electical and phone line was moved along with a little bit of plumbing that needed to be cut.

4. On Thursday, the paneling was placed in near the stove. Has a tile looks and looks like it should wipe up nicely. Also the cabinets were put up.

5. On Friday, the new microwave, so counter, new faucet, and the microwave was installed. My brother did a little tweaking while I attended a meeting on Saturday. Here is our finished product with the only regret that I used my old sink. Should have replaced, but maybe down the line.

6. On Saturday we actually had a day to enjoy the outside.

7. A special thanks to my crew (brothers) for getting this done. Excuse the mess as we had trouble finding places to put things during the construction.

Established in 1954, the Wroclaw Philharmonic Orchestra is widely embraced for its diverse repertoire, which spans various musical eras from Baroque to Contemporary. The evening, headed by acclaimed conductor Jacek Kaspszyk and award winning cello soloist Maciej Mlodawski, will feature a program including Dvorak’s 7th Symphony in D minor and Dvorak’s cello concerto in D Minor.

The Humane Society of Bay County’s (HSBC) Board of Directors, Staff and Volunteers are gearing up for the annual Furry Friend Fun Day & 5K. It will be held on Saturday, May 26, 2012, at Frank Brown Park in Panama City Beach, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. HSBC has designated Sunday, May 27, 2012, from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m., as a rain date in the event of inclement weather on Saturday. Fun Day Admission is $5 (which includes admission in the 1K and access in the activity zone.
This will be fun-filled event with a full 5K for all ages with/without your pet, Kids Fun Walk/Run, plenty of kid's games & activities, entertainment, food, pet adoptions, micro-chipping, dog rally, meet the breeds event, and most of all fun for the whole family. This will be a fun race but it will also be timed by a professional timing coming to help secure pro athletes and runners in the community. Registration on the day of will be from 7:30am-8:30am and the race will start around 9am.

Beach Yoga

Time to get fit and it's FREE. Morning Yoga for all ages and experience. Classes are at 10am on the beach behind Spinnaker Beach Club every Friday and it's all summer long. Spinnaker's is just a short 10 minute walk, so a nice warmup before you start.
