O, Mary, Mother of God, who, amidst the tribulations of the world, watches over us and over the Church of your Son, be to us and to the Church truly Our Lady of Prompt Succor, make haste to help us in all our necessities, that in this fleeting life you may be our succor. Help us to gain life everlasting through the merits of Jesus, your Son, our Lord and Redeemer.
  Amen.

O Queen of the Universe, Our Lady of Prompt Succor, sovereign full of kindness, you are the advocate of sinners, a haven of safety to the shipwrecked; you are the resource of the world, the ransom of captives, the health of the infirm, the consolation of the afflicted, the refuge and salvation of all on earth. We beseech you to grant us the help of your prayers, which incline our Heavenly Father to forgive our sins and grant our petitions in all the necessities of this miserable life, prayers which obtain for us an abundance of graces to receive the pardon of our faults and arrive at the practice of virtue, prayers which stop our enemies, confound their designs, and triumph over their efforts.

O most Excellent and Immaculate Queen of Heaven, Holy Mary of Good Success, most favored daughter of the Eternal Father, most beloved mother of the Divine Son, most cherished spouse of the Holy Spirit, sublime throne of the Divine Majesty, august Temple of the Holy Trinity, in whom the Three Divine Persons have placed the treasures of their Power, Wisdom, and Love!

Remember, Virgin Mary of Good Success, whom God has made so great so that thou canst give succor to miserable sinners; remember that thou has often promised to show thyself a merciful Mother to those who have recourse to thee.

I come to thee then, Mother most merciful, and I beg thee, for thy love of the Most High, that thou shouldst obtain for me from God the Father a lively Faith that never loses sight of the eternal truths; from the Son, a firm Hope that always aspires to reach that glory that He won for me with His Blood; and from the Holy Ghost, a charity so inflamed that I will always live loving the Supreme Goodness and thee, Most Holy Virgin, until, through thy intervention, I should love and enjoy thee eternally in glory.

Mary, you showed yourself to Bernadette in the crevice of the rock. In the cold and grey of winter, you brought the warmth, light and beauty of your presence, in the often obscure depths of our lives, in the depth of the world where evil is so powerful, bring hope, return our confidence!

You are the Immaculate Conception, come to our aid, sinners that we are. Give us the humility to have a change of heart, the courage to do penance.

Teach us to pray for all people. Guide us to the source of true life. Make us pilgrims going forward with your Church, whet our appetite for the Eucharist, the bread for the journey, the bread of life.

The Spirit brought about wonders in you, O Mary : by his power, he has placed you near the Father, in the glory of your eternal Son. Look with kindness on our miserable bodies and hearts. Shine forth for us, like a gentle light, at the hour of our death.

Mary, Mother of God, how wondrous was the birth of your divine Son! You conceived Him by the Holy Spirit, and you brought Him forth in the happiness of yearning love. In a poor cave of Bethlehem the Son of God was born miraculously. His human body and soul were substantially and inseparably united to His divine nature in one person.

Mary, I can imagine the joy that filled your heart as you gazed at your Child with wondering awe, lifted Him from the manger, cradled Him in your arms, and pressed Him to your heart. The love that welled up in His little heart was divine love, and you must have received it with the utmost humility, never for a moment deeming yourself worthy of it, but returning the favor with all the love of your Immaculate Heart. Blessed Mother, I pray for your help that my love for your divine Son may grow stronger every day of my life.
