February 20-23, 2004
This weekend i went fishing with My stepdad we caught a few reds and a few trout but there were fish everywhere we caught fish early and the wind took us off the water by 11 every morning. We truely need a trolling moter to allow us to stay out longer and get infront of the schools without strating the engine. We spooked more fish into other fisherman more than we should have. However we were catching fish when Steve wasnt driving us up on sandbars or throwing rods and reels in the water and jumping ontop of huge schools of reds right next to our boat. However he did slightly redeem himself puttting me on two reds all of which were caught on live shrimp right before we went in for the weekend...We also caught some trout as well. One night i also caught 3 trout in 15-20 mins off the dock at JBs Fish camp waiting for a table to open up on Capt. Mikes FISH CANDY-TUBES...That what happened this weekend and on the 28th I will be hitting up chokoloskee hopefully I will get some more pics and another report for the page next week.
