Now.....Let's Go Flying

OK, we're at the field, we've got our plane, our support equipment and our tools. We're all ready to learn to fly. All we need now is someone to help us get going.

Not a problem...first, find the Field Marshall and ask him to assign you to an instructor. He will inspect your airplane, put you on a "Buddy Cord", a device that gives him primary control of your airplane, and you're on your way.

DOS AND DON'TS

• DO....Secure a frequency pin before turning on your radio
• DO....Have your instructor inspect your plane for safety
• DO....Follow all safety and club rules to the letter
• DON'T...Try to fly alone...you'll only crash!!
• DON'T...Turn on a radio without a freq. pin
• DON'T...Ever turn an a radio without a freq. pin!!
• DON'T... Even THINK about turnin' on a radio without a pin
