LET'S LEARN ABOUT R/C AIRPLANES

I have designed this website to help you learn how to get into R/C flying, and to do it without making the costly mistakes so many new people make.
One of the things that I will stress to you more than once is to begin with a Trainer airplane, preferably a sixty sized one. Remember, a bigger plane is easier to fly then a small one. Resist the temptation to run out and buy that good lookin' P-51 Mustang, or that awesome four engined bomber.
Believe me when I say that you will NOT be able to fly it!,,,no matter how much you think you can.

The other thing that I can't stress upon you enough, is DON'T TRY TO TEACH YOURSELF TO FLY!! It will only end in disaster! Every club has qualified instructors and lessons are free!
Don't get discouraged though. If you follow the advice in my humble little website, and your instructor, we'll have you flying solo in the cockpit of that P-51 in a matter of weeks.

As you can see below, this hobby need not be expensive. Resist the temptation common to all new flyers....don't go out and buy every airplane that strikes your fancy.
I know people who have thirty five and forty planes in their "Hanger", have thousands of dollars tied up, can't even remember why they bought half of them, and never fly most of them!
