LISA O. O'NEILL practices general real estate with an emphasis on leasing, acquisitions and loan closings. She has extensive experience in loan work-outs and deed in lieu of foreclosure transactions, including transactions involving hotels, office buildings and residential apartment complexes. Ms. O’Neill has represented landlords and tenants in a variety of commercial, industrial and shopping center leases. She also has significant title experience in connection with acquisitions, loans and foreclosures. Ms. O’Neill is a graduate of Duke University (B.A., cum laude, 1982) and the University of Florida College of Law (J.D., cum laude, 1985), where she was Senior Articles and Executive Editor of the University of Florida Law Review. Her law review article, “The Florida Power Plant Siting Act” (Fall 1984) was published and received the Gertrude Brick Writing Award for most outstanding law review note.
Ms. O’Neill has been involved in a variety of community activities including, the College Assistance Program (CAP) and the Sunny Shore Sea Camp for Children with Cystic Fibrosis.
