THE ZILLIONAIRES XIII
(Dino Trouble: Dinosaur World 2)
Keith was reviewing his plans for the dune-buggy track around the entire property that belonged to him and his brother. It would be over 30 miles long and have tons of obstacles like: Jumps. Pot holes. Ramps. Haystacks. Collapsed bridges. Streams. Ponds. Puddles. Mud holes. The list was two pages long.
Keith was still thinking about when he decided to put his plans on his Main Computer Console. When had finished making it, he put in the obstacles every where. He and his brother would have to be experts to be able to live through the race course.
That was when he got a great idea.
He quickly raced to his brother, who was playing miniature golf with his son on the 18 hole course. This was their 6th time playing golf today.
"What do you say we make another Dinosaur World, Ryan?" Keith asked when he got to his brother, who was on hole 15.
"Are you crazy?" Ryan asked, "Do you remember what happened the last time we made a Dinosaur World? The dinosaurs broke lose and rampaged throughout the city. Why do you want that to happen again?"
"I don’t. What we can do is build a tunnel down to the cave in Lake Superior and make a fenced in escalator through that dinosaur place. Everyone will be safe and can see the dinosaurs."
"And how do you plan to do that?"
"Simple. I design a tunnel and build it. I design a indestructible fenced-in escalator 15 feet above the ground and build it. We sell cheap tickets to get in. Any questions?"
"Yeah. Why?"
"I just feel like it."
"You can’t just do something whenever you want to, Keith." Ryan said.
"And why not?"
"I, uh, well, you just can’t."
Keith laughed.
That very same week Keith and Ryan went to the lake and Keith studied the area around the cave. He then made a highly detailed 3D virtual plan on his laptop for the tunnel through the water while Ryan ordered tons and tons of equipment, building supplies, and workers to build it.
Within a month, Dinosaur World 2 was completely finished.
Keith and Ryan had claimed the entire dinosaur place as their own and since nobody owned before, they didn’t have to pay one cent for it. They also didn’t have to pay tax on the land because it really wasn’t in America.
It had the 15 mile escalator and a super strong ramp down to the ground. On the ground there was a humongous gym-sized building. It was the park Complex. The walls were made of concrete and 25 feet thick. Inside were information booths, a restaurant, a 5 class hotel were every room was first class, restrooms, the control room, souvenir shops, and the Roadster.
The Roadster was a giant land rover which could house up to 5,000 people. It could travel at speeds up to three hundred miles per hour, but while it had tourist in it, it didn’t go more than about 200 miles an hour. The Roadster could drive out into the park so the people inside would be able to see the dinosaurs that wouldn’t go near the fenced in escalator.
Keith called Ryan on his Radio Watch L-X. "Let’s get some people in the Roadster and go out in the park and drive all the way around it."
"O.K." Ryan responded.
They got some people and put them in the Roadster. Keith drove it out of the Complex.
All of the tourist were amazed at seeing the dinosaurs up close. Children went down to the ground-level windows and watched some of the velociraptors try to attack the people through the windows. Of course, they couldn’t get through the mesh-steel, 6 inch thick, super-strength, double-plated, glass-chrome, plastic-sided, double-reenforced windows.
The raptors rammed up against the side of the vehicle, but to no avail. They couldn’t get through, no matter how hard they tried. Then the raptors got smart. The largest raptor, a 16 foot long male, jumped up onto the top of the Roadster from a ledge 20 feet above it. People in the vehicle heard a "thud" above.
Two guards, who were on the roof, fired their stunners at the raptor, who successfully dodged the shots.
The guards quickly ran out of ammunition and raced to the door that led into the Roadster. More raptors landed on the roof and followed the large raptor after the guards.
The guards, Kevin Cage and Michael Lambert, ran down the corridor.
"Run, Kevin! They’re almost to us! Let’s climb into the air vent up here or we’ll be eaten alive!" Michael climbed into the air vent first, then Kevin. While he was climbing in the vent, the raptors lunged and just barely missed his legs. "Ahhhhhhhh!" he screamed. The raptors, 6 in all, jumped and tried to fit into the air vent but they couldn’t because it was too small for them, but not for the guards.
The vent was 3 ft. x 3 ft., just enough space to fit people in.
After about 10 minutes, the velociraptors gave up and went down the corridor to find more prey, some that was easier to catch.
Kevin and Michael went down the vent and to the door at the end of the corridor. They locked it and got some more ammo and Kevin called some more guards on his Radio Watch L-X. Fifteen guards came and so did Keith.
Ryan stayed in the control room and drove the vehicle around the park.
The guards and Keith got ready to kill the raptors. They watched the door for a few minutes and then one of the guards got an idea. The guard snuck over to the door. He unlocked it and opened the door about 2 inches. When he looked out, he saw the raptors and the raptors saw him.
The raptors burst in, knocking the guy to the far wall and breaking his right arm. Everybody fired at the raptors and killed them.
The janitors threw the bodies of the dead raptors out of the Roadster and then they cleaned up the giant mess of blood. The doctor took care of the guard with the broken arm and gave him a cast.
People crowded around the windows to watch as Compies devoured the bodies of the velociraptors. There were about 350 Compies, a large amount for only 6 raptors.
The Compies looked like tiny raptors, and were about a foot long. They preyed on wounded and dead animals. Compies would attack if they think that an animal is dead. They would begin to bite off chunks of skin near the stomach, trying their best to get to the warm and tasty intestines.
Keith went back to the control room and told Ryan about the events that had happened, from the raptors landing on the roof to killing them, although Ryan had watched the whole thing on his monitor.
"Wow!" Ryan exclaimed, when Keith finished telling him the story. "Do you think that more of the dinosaurs will try to get inside?"
"I don’t know, but if they do, we’re going to have to kill them. These thing could kill innocent people and eat them. We would probably be arrested and sued, but that’s not what I’m worried about. I don’t want any body to die. If they did, I could never live with myself any longer."
"I hope no-one gets hurt too."
"Well, I gu-"
CRASH! Some people started screaming!
"What in the world was that?!" Keith said, running towards the sound. Ryan followed close behind his brother. They ran down the hall to the weapon room. Keith rummaged through the vast supply of fire arms and stunners. He pulled out five stunners and shoved them all into his hip pouch. He got two M-45's, 13 P.K.’s (Poison Knives), 20 stunners, 50 cartridges of bullets and stunner fluid, and put it all in his backpack. He carried a 41-8 machine gun on his shoulder and a 25-8 machine gun in his hands. Keith left the safeties on.
Ryan chose out 12 stunners, lots of cartridges and stunner fluid, four Auto-Aim M-16's, and one P.K. for his backpack.
He carried a pistol and two stunners in his hip pouch.
They left the room 20 seconds after the went in. As they got to the ground floor window room, the screams got louder. Much louder.
Ryan and Keith were shocked to find that a Tyrannosaurus Rex had burst through the wall after a Stegosaurus had broken it with it’s tail! No-one was hurt because they all left when the Stegosaurus hit the wall. The T-Rex’s head poked through the wall and looked around with unblinking eyes.
Keith turned off the safeties on his guns. "Wait until it attacks before you start to fire at it."
"O.K." Ryan replied.
The dinosaur let out an ear-deafening roar that sounded a little bit like a fog horn.
Some of the guards came and stood by Keith and his brother, weapons ready to fire at the troublesome Tyrannosaurus Rex.
The T-Rex began climb in. It was getting tired from having to run with the Roadster. It finally managed get inside and it roared.
"Get ready, FIRE!" Keith shouted.
Everybody fired at the dinosaur and fired and fired and fired. Ryan and some of the other guys pulled out stunners and shot the beast. The stunners were all set for kill. About 3,000 bullets went into the T-Rex before it slumped to the ground, unconscious from the stunners. It was almost dead from getting shot so many times.
Keith and Ryan drove back to the Complex and got some tools and cut out the whole area of the wall were the Tyrannosaurus Rex had broken into. It was a huge mess.
Keith and his brother got inside their home-made G.C.L.’s (Grappling Carry Lift).
The G.C.L.’s were like robots. People get into them and control the entire body. They are normally used for carrying things like a Fork Lift would. This time Keith and Ryan used them for getting the body of the Tyrannosaurus Rex out of the Roadster.
They picked it up and carried it to the far side of the wall. There, they removed its head and made it into a gigantic mantel piece to put over the fire place in Keith’s living room.
Ryan got the tools while Keith set up the body. When Ryan came back with the equipment, Keith turned on the chain saw and carefully cut into the neck. Blood poured out and went into the drainage ditch. He finally managed to saw through the extremely thick and hard spine. It was hard work, but in the end they had a mantel piece to show for it.
Ryan and Keith counted the people and found out that there were 1,473 tourist. They made 2,946 tickets, with numbers on them. There were two tickets for each number. One of each were put into a big barrel. The other tickets were pass out among all of the people so they could "draw straws" to see who got which part of the Tyrannosaurus Rex.
The dinosaur was divided into 57 parts. There were 2 legs, 2 arms, 1 tail, the stomach and part of it’s huge back, it’s chest and the rest of the back, and 50 parts of it’s intestines.
Keith and Ryan took turns at drawing the tickets and calling out the number of the lucky winners of the "Tyrannosaurus Souvenirs".
The numbers picked were 2, 6, 12, 24, 45, 67, 79, 98, 105, 113, 124, 152, 273, 277, 289, 297, 303, 307, 329, 392, 456, 479, 567, 569, 582, 591, 634, 646, 668, 679, 694, 695, 699, 736, 748, 767, 770, 792, 869, 896, 949, 980, 1004, 1154, 1173, 1193, 1229, 1234, 1265, 1293, 1387, 1345, 1357, 1394, 1456, 1458, and 1466.
By the time it was finished, it was 10:30 p.m.. The people began to walk back to the ramp to go home.
Everybody stopped and turned around to listen when Ryan began to talk.
"Ladies and Gentlemen!" Ryan started, "As I have no doubt, you all are probably very tired and want to go home. We can help you on that problem. My brother and I will either A: Fly you all first class to wherever your car, hotel, or home is, or we can B: Let you all spend a free night here at our hotel with pools, Jacuzzis, and free clothes cleaning so you all will be ready to leave tomorrow, that is, if you don’t want another day to see the dinosaurs, free of charge."
The people murmured to themselves and the majority decided to spent the night at the hotel.
Everyone flocked to the hotel, where 50 desk clerks were ready and waiting for them. Less than 15 minutes later, everyone had a room.
The people who didn’t want stay got a free trip out of the Complex on the Motor Carts up to Lake Superior where only a small portion of the Concords were being prepared for them. There were 3 planes.
The first one was to take the people to their cars.
The second one was to take the people to their hotels.
The third one was to take the people to their houses.
Back at the Complex, it finally began to get quiet. Most people were asleep in the hotel. At around 3 a.m., the guest were awaken to the tremors of an earthquake. It got bigger and bigger until it stopped. A minute later, there was a loud crash and it felt like something weighing a million tons slam into the earth.
Keith got up, went to the control room, and looked outside on the monitor. There, sitting on the fenced-in escalator, was a giant brachiosaurus!
"Whoa!" he exclaimed.
It was about 200 feet long and looked like it weighed 50 tons! It was gigantic!
Ryan came in and saw the same thing. Then the ground started to rumble louder than before. Keith took control over the video camera and spun it around slowly. Heading towards the complex, there was a herd of brachiosaurus about 15 miles away!
Keith grabbed the microphone and shouted into it. The mike was broadcasted throughout the entire complex, escalator, ramp, hotel, and the secret tunnel. "Everybody get up now! I repeat! Everybody get up now! There is a herd of giant brachiosauruses headed this way fast! Forget your stuff and get into the Roadster now or you will be killed! I’ll pay for your stuff! Just get into the Roadster now! You have five minutes! So hurry or get killed!"
Keith ran to the Roadster and started it up. He pressed some buttons and the cargo doors at the rear of the Roadster opened up to let the people get. It took 5 minutes to get everyone in the vehicle. The Roadster left and got away just as the dinosaurs ran into the Complex.
Everyone was flown home in the Concords. It was sad for Keith and Ryan, who had worked a long time on the project.
The next week, Keith went back to Dinosaur World 2 and killed all of the dinosaurs that he could. Then he left.
