The Story Of My Life

My dad was in the Navy for about 24 years. In that time we had to move around a lot. I have lived in 9 different houses already. Anyway, here is the story of my life from the beginning. My parents were living in Washington state when my mom got pregnant with me. Then they moved to San Diego, California. We lived in two different houses there. I was born there on July 31, 1984, at 12:48 P.M., in Balboa hospital.  Six months after I was born, we moved to Norfolk, Virginia. My brother Michael was born there on September 10, 1985, at 8:48 A.M. We lived in 2 different house there too. Then we moved to Charleston, South Carolina. We lived there until I was 8, when we moved to Italy on January 7, 1993. I lived in 2 different houses there too. I have been all over Europe. I have seen 15 different countries and have many souvenirs, home videos, and picture from my travels. I have been to the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the Eiffel Tower, the Acropolis, the Roman Coliseum, and many, many other places. In Italy, we lived at our first house for 3 years. During that time I was home schooled. We had gone to Italy over Christmas break of my 3rd grade year, and I had to do the entire year over home schooled. There were no other kids in our neighborhood, so Michael and I didn't have any friends there. We live in a little place up in the mountains called Punta Bianca (White Point). We were only 200 steps from the beach down the mountain. When I started 4th grade, we went to an Italian school that was run by nuns who would pull your ears if you were bad. We didn't know the language so we started doing home school again but we also stayed in the Italian school so we could be around other kids. So we had to do the entire home school in half a year, so we were doing 3 school lessons a day. In 5th grade we were home schooled again. Sometime in that year or the next we moved to a different house in a different town called Ceperana. We stayed there until I finished 9th grade. The summer after that, we moved back to America on July 21, 1999, 10 days before my 15th birthday. We came here, to Jacksonville, Florida. I went to a real school for the first time in about 7 years. The school was Providence. It was different being around other kids all day. I did fairly well that year, and OK in the next year. Now it is the summer before my senior year. I am looking forward to it.
