History of International Harvest

International Harvest Church Of God is a ministry, that was birth from a heart of compassion and concern for men and women who does not have a relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. We began this ministry at the Best Western Hotel on March 30, 2003 with just about five (5) persons. At that time we were only able to have service once a week on a Sunday evening. As we continued trusting God, the ministry began to grow. The people of God needed just more than once a week service; we then moved from the small conference room of that hotel, with approximately twenty-five people to share a sanctuary with another church, for about nine (9) months. We continued having service on a Sunday night and a Bible study night was added.

In the month of June 2004, God directed us to a building that we are now leasing for worship, prayer and ministry.

August 2004, we were organized as a church and other areas of ministries were added. We now have services on Sunday morning/night, our Wednesday bible study is growing rapidly, the youths are excited on Friday night, we also have children’s church, ladies and men ministry.

On Sunday, February 20, 2005 ten (10) members were taken into fellowship. We are now at a membership of approximately sixty five (65).

Recently a fifteen-passenger bus was donated to our church, and God has done so much for us.

Looking back I can only say “To God be the glory, great things He has done.”

All of this could not have been possible without God and the members of International Harvest. These members have stood with Suzanne and I faithfully in this ministry. They ministered to the needs of the church, with their time, prayer, finances, generous contributions and gifts. They saw the need for remodeling when we got the building and just did

whatever they needed to do to make sure that the building was conducive for worship, at our first service in August 2004. We could not have done it without them, they are the ones who deserves appreciation and gratitude.

God has blessed us with a wonderful church family and for this we give thanks.

As we continue to grow together, we look forward to spiritual development and maturity in the lives of God’s people and most of all reaching others with the love of Jesus Christ.
