A person once asked me if I believed in re-encarnation. I replied, "No, I don't. But if I did believe it were true,
I would say I used to be a woman who lived in the early eighteen-hundreds."
This love has flowed many times into a second love of mine: writing. So far, all that I have written is Monkees' Fan-fiction.
My fan-fiction is not limited to the sixties as many of you may already know. I have stories that have placed the Monkees in the
mid eighteen-hundreds. Even now I'm placing the boys even further back by working on a Revolutionary War piece.
I have just started participating in Civil War Re-enactments around my area.
Pictures and information on this event will soon be posted.
So why am I so obsessed with old, nostalgic things? In all honesty I really don't know. All that I know is that I love antiques,
I love stories set in those early eras, and I love silent films. Yes, you heard me correctly.
However, there are things about the modern world I love as well.
Such as my horseless carriage. Oh, sorry about that! I meant my truck.
While I'm not a feminist, I do enjoy the liberties women receive today compared
to what the women endured back in the early days. After all, why can't a woman vote?
And I do love music from the sixties, and modern Christian rock. Yes! A woman
so absorbed in the the nineteenth century that likes rock. It's an odd thing, I know.
