A frustrated Flyers team in once again beaten. A frustrated Flyers team once again fails to score. A frustrated goalie is once again peppered with shots.
That was pretty much the story in game 4 as the Ottowa Senators got their 3rd consecutive 3-0 playoff win against the Flyers. Roman Chechmanek was seen rushing out to center ice in disgust of Ottawa's 3rd goal. Yet again the Flyers were shutout by Patrick Lalime. The Flyers offense failed to score during multiple power plays, including a 4 minute power play a 5-on-3 advantage for more than a minute.
Ottawa's goals came by Wade Redden, Sami Salo, and Marian Hossa. Patrick Lalime saved all 28 shots from the Flyers.
Game 4 (back in Philly) will become a do or die game for the Flyers. A loss will eliminate them until next year. A win will set the series at 3-2 Ottawa. All the Flyers need to win is some goals and the continueing faith and support of the fans. It is not unheard of for a team to comeback and win a series that they trailed 3-1. With Philly's roster, coaching staff, adn reputation, they can, will, and should win or atleast score on the Senators in game 5.
