Each night
Just before the moon sets
I slip from my sheets
Silently levitating
With extraordinary ease
My face turned
To the elements
Of the galaxy
The night mists
Sprinkling diamonds
In my hair
With jubilant elation
My body earth laden
Sends my spirit
Drifting fluent with grace
Into the heavens
Where
I reach tentatively
For illusive moonbeams
And stardust
Left behind by restless sleepers
Keepers of dreams
And misplaced wishes
