The Technical Stuff
The above commissions are calculated based upon the current commission rate of 3/4 of 1%. Sub-agent commissions are based upon a rate of 1/4 of 1%. These percentages are only valid up to $322,700 on a single family home. That is the Fannie Mae maximum for their conforming loans. Any loan above this amount is classified in the Jumbo category where the point structure is different. Fewer points are charged on the Jumbo loans. The same is true with any commercial loan. On Jumbo loans and commercial loans your commission will be decided on a case by case basis and will be disclosed to you prior to the closing.
