the inspiration for this webpage comes from spending 14 yrs in a small town and finding someone who everyday for the past 3 yrs makes me smile feel good about myself has changed me in so many ways and every week i would spend time with at our local coffee shop catching up on the drama of the week and just what was going on in our busy lives. Not only that but this person made me realize i am a character from one of the best movies of the 80s which happens to be pretty in pink and the character is phil "duckie" dale. In turn she is my andie and our friendship is based on these characters due to the fact ive been in love with my best friend for 3 yrs and call her everyday just as duckie did in the movie. So.... to all who come to this site enjoy the pics quotes and sound clips and history of how two people from a small town ended up as a real life Duckie and Andie.
