Donovan Cage's First Interview!

(The scene fades in into an hotel lobby. The lobby appears to be top of the line and the people in sight are all neatly dressed. We see nice carpet everywhere in the lobby and everything seems brand new. The cameraman is looking around as he slowly walks forward, to an elevator. He climbs into the elevator and presses the button for the third floor. The elevator takes him up swiftly, and the door opens. The cameraman heads down the hall. The fifth door on the right, room 310, is cracked open, apparantly waiting for someone to enter. The cameraman walks in the room and finds Donovan Cage sitting on a leather couch. He seems to be watching television. The television is showing IWF footage. The footage is of Cobra on the titan-tron making fun of Xtreme. Cage listens and smirks as he listens. After it finishes he looks at the camera. There is something behind the camera that catches his eye. He smiles and speaks up)

Donovan Cage - "'Bout time you showed up, dude. Damn ten minutes late? I could have you fired, punk. Now get in hear and let's get this show on the road!"

(Suddenly, the back of a man enters the camera and he is holding a microphone Donovan rises from the couch and these two men stand next to each other. Donovan makes the interviewer seem like a kid. The interviewer begins Donovan's first interview in IWF history)

Interviewer - "I'm hear with Donovan Cage at his hotel room. In case you didn't know, this is his first interview in International Wrestling Federation history! Donovan, let me begin by saying: welcome to the IWF! How do you like it here so far?"

(Donovan looks at the interviewer, and cocks an eyebrow up. Donovan eyes the interviewer as if the interviewer was dumb. Cage speaks)

"Well, personally, nothing exciting happened until yesterday. I met Kylie Smith. That wasa good day. The days before that were just me training and getting ready for my debut. Nothing special. Kylie met me and then Cobra said he wants me to end Xtreme's 'TLC' streak. What more excitement can come in fourty-eight hours? None, I tell you. None!"

"Ahh yes, earlier in the IWF ring. Xtreme called you out. Is it true Cobra contacted you and informed you not to go out?"

"Why, of course it's true. Who else could stop me from going out there and destroying him. No one else could. Hell, Xtreme is actually lucky. I was headed to the ring, street clothes and all, when my phone rang. That little punk Xtreme is very damn lucky, actually. He's lucky I have call-id and saw it was, and answered. Had I not answered that phone, I would've went out there and handed Xtreme his ass. Xtreme, for once in your life, thank Cobra for saving you from a beating."

(Cage smiles as the interviewer asks another question)

"Donovan, what did you think of Kylie Smith?"

"Well, she seems to be a very great girl. She seems to me that she has good sense. It appears that she knows how to meet people. She understands just what to look for in a man. She found me. I hope to be able to meet her again sometime in the future. But that's besides the point. She's very good. But at the same time, there's something about her."

"What do you mean?"

"Well, she seems to be the type that will use one to get what she wants. For instance, maybe she's meeting me just to encourage me to get rid of Xtreme. Maybe she's just talking to me to make me feel better about myself. Maybe she's getting my esteem up so I am on her side."

"Maybe she is trying to get me on her good side so she doesn't have to worry about me. Well, I don't trust many people, and the first impression isn't enough to gain my allegance. If Kylie Smith honestly think her charm is going to make me like her...she's wrong. You have to prove to me that I CAN trust you and she hasn't quite done that, yet."

"It seems to me, you're not looking into the alliance thing, is that true?"

"Down the road, I may look into the whole teammates and stables thing. But for now I am looking towards my debut match and only that. I am looking at only causing hell to my first victim and I am only looking at my PPV debut. Nothing else. I must not get side tracked. If I get side tracked that could be the end. I will not get of my task. Stables and stuff would make me get of task."

"What about your match this week? First, tell us about the fact it is a 'TLC' match."

"To be honest, the type of match doesn't matter to me. Oh wow! It's a match full of tables, ladders, and chairs. God help us all! The big dumb Donovan Cage has never been in this match before he can't win. It's stupid. That is f*ckin' stupid. Just because I have never been in this kind of match doesn't mean I can't win. All it means is that I have more to prove. I have to prove to people that I can wrestle in any match and I have to prove to people that I can beat anyone under any circumstances. Those are my thoughts on my match!"

Okay, uhmm....What about Xtreme?"

"Whoa, buddy, I thought you'd never ask! Xtreme, where to begin. Let's see, last I checked in his promo he told me my brain is the size of a peanut. Amazing. It's amazing at how he feels I'm the dumb one when he's the jackass that specializes in 'TLC' matches. This fool thinks that because this is HIS type of match he has a distinct advantage. I'm still not seeing the advantage. Just because he wrestled this kind of match makes him special? Honestly, how the hell would being in a match give you an advantage? Wow!!!!!! Xtreme has been in a 'TLC' match. Just for that I want his autograph! I want him during the match to sign me an autograph! He's been in this kind of environment and I want him to sign a paper that tells me that!"

"May I ask, why?"

"Since it's your job to ask questions, yes. I want him to sign me an autograph so everytime I look at it. I can say that was the first victim of Donovan Cage. I want it to also let me know that I can do anything. If I beat Xtreme at his own game I MUST mean business. I guess I need it for those reasons.
