World Industries = Kmart? -
World Industires recently fired their sales manager which means they are going to see to anyone. Look for their boards in your local department stores such as Walmart, K-Mart... Right now they are in places such as The Sports Authority and Champs. World Industries has also had their Flameboy logo in the Simpsons.
Why is World Inustries doing this?? Selling out?? Being Gay?? Or Trying to make more money??I think they are trying to do all that stuff.
Kmart/Wal-Mart - They are going to sell there boards in Kmart, Wal-Mart and places like that becomes the average kid that doesnt know anything about skateboards will go there to buy a board.
Money - I think every pro company is out there to make money not just to skate. Money is everything to keeping a business alive. So actually is it a "Smart Idea" to seel your stuff in normal retail stores not just skate shops?
Board Quality - Will the boards be the same? Or will they sell crapier boards in Kmart/Wal-Mart and sell the good boards at skate shops? Or will they all get worse and will we have to call World Industries a Kmart brand??
