Skaters these Days? -
Why do you skateboard? Do you like it? Have you ever had a day at the skatepark when you just skated? Had fun with your friends? Or have you had problems with some other "Poser" or "Fruitbooters"? So why must we take this sport and destroy it with nonsense back talk and attacks with fellow skateboarders.The last time I checked, skateboarding was not about who is better, or who can do what tricks and who can do these tricks. It was about skating you don't see congratulating there fellow skater on how they just landed there first kickflip who has been trying for months now, but you have to rub it in and show off and tell you can do them switch !
Everyone that skateboards anymore is just skating to be better then him/her. Its never for yourself.Too many people today are worried about getting sponsored and that is ridiculous. Being sponsored or riding for a company is an honor that one achieves for being a good skateboarder.
Now, go out and skate, and don't worry who is better or worse then you. Just skate and if you are skilled enough to get sponsored it will come.
