Harley-Davidson, a US company did not want to make their product overseas or in another country. ENGINEERING 101& ,Harley-Davidson began an aggressive plan to restructure their organization. ME s relayed out the plant and office for greater efficiency and capacity. ENGINEERING 101& lThe ME s paired with other departments, revised the whole organization for speed, efficiency, cost reduction, and simplicity. Manufacturing has been streamlined to running lot sizes of one (1). Inventory has been reduced dramatically.
