Welcome to a sea of information for ESL teachers as well as for ESL students. My goal is help educators so that they
can in turn provide effective skills for learning new words. I've created this site as a guide for teaching and learning vocabulary strategies. I know that vocabulary recognition is one of the most important aspects for learning a language, but it could also be overwhelming for both, educators and learners. Consequently, I've designed several fun and uncomplicated lesson plans, and uselful activities for learners. Each lesson provides word formation classroom tasks focusing on a specific vocabulary feature. As for the students' section, the activities are designed for learners to work in groups inside as well as outside the classroom environment. The independent activities not only help learners learn unknown words but also motivate them to take charge of their own leaning process in a cooperative group effort. In addition, you will find many other useful links which specifically aim at building vocabulary strategies.
