Marriage Report for Antanas and Antanina

On February 21, 1854 in Kraziai Roman Catholic church, the priest Vincentas Butavicius, which had received an approval of bishop on February 14, 1854, Nr.256, registered the marriage of nobleman Antanas Eidimtas 27 years old from Klubokai village, the son of Fortunatas and Barbora, maiden name Kaubravicius and Antanina Zinkevicius 20 years old from Savetiskes village, the daughter of Antanas and Joana, maiden name Gopinas.
The witnesses were secretary of province Bytautas, Juozas Narkevicius, Pranciskus Galkevicius and other.

Death Report for Antanina Eidimtas

Noblewoman Antanina Eidimtas, maiden name Zinkevicius 64 years old died of consumption on March 28, 1889, in Gudiskes village.
She left the widower Antanas, the sons Aleksandras, Julijonas, Povilas, Petras, Stanislovas, the daughters Elena, Tekle. She was buried on (the day is left) the same month and year in Varniai cemetery. The priest was Juknevicius.

*NOTE: The dates recorded in the above reports are possibly based on the Julian Calendar. In 1918 the Soviet Union decreed that the day after January 1st, 1918 (Julian) would become February 14th, 1918 (Gregorian). To convert, add 10 days to dates between Oct.5th, 1582 through Feb. 28th, 1700. After that date add 11 days through Feb.28, 1800; 12 days through Feb. 28, 1900, and 13 days through Feb. 28th, 2100. **NOTE: There is a Vincentas (dob 04/06/1855) mentioned in one of the records that was the first born to Antanas and Antanina about one year after their marriage but no other mention. Possibly an infant death. He is not listed on Antanina's death report.
