This is our wedding picture,on my left is my parents and on Sue's right is her parents

Here we are leaving the ceremony. We took Sue's sister, Bobbie back to Atlanta and I got lost in Atlanta. We finally made it back to Rome later that night.

At the airport in Rome,GA waiting to leave.

This is some shots of my leaving Sue for what I thought would be a short separation, but it turned out to be six months.

This is a photo of me in San Francisco. It was taken in 1950 when our ship was in drydock being refitted. I was a seaman 1st class, striking for torpedoman according to the stripes on my sleeve.

A shot of me and some of my pals, goofing off a little. My arm is resting on the shoulder of my good buddy "Bonz" Adams.Because of this web site we were able to make contact with each other again after 50 years.

I just received this picture today (06/06/02 )from an old shipmate, William "Bobby" Ruffin. I beleive we were lined up in dress whites awaiting inspection prior to liberty call. I am the fifth from the right.

Another picture received from Bobby. This is part of our torpedo gang, from left to right, Me, "Killer" Kane, "Swede"Isaacson and Bobby Ruffin. Bobbys name is actually William, but a gunners mate named "Dixie" Dugan tagged him with Bobby and it stuck.

This is a shot of Sue and I when she was pregnant with our first baby.I think this was taken in early 1952,as she gave birth on March 2nd.
