November the 4th is coming soon,
So it really must be true,
Our darling, precious little girl
Is unbelieveably turning TWO!
Each day her movies she loves to watch,
Finding Nemo, Shrek, Beauty and the Beast.
She sits and nibbles on snackies and juice.
Chicken "nuggies" to her are a feast!
She then toddles off to another room
Stops just for a moment to say
As she's looking behind her...at me
"C'mon Nannie, want to play!"
So off we go the bedroom she uses
Where she keeps her clothes and her toys
She points to the floor, says "Nannie sit"
Such a simple phrase which fills me with joy.
So we sit and play with all of her toys
She hugs my neck, gives me a sweet adorable look
Plops down on my lap, how can I resist
When she says "pease Nannie, read book".
As the years go by, we'll always remember
All the sweet things that you say and do
They'll be forever etched on our hearts
Just like the year our sweetheart turned two.
