Southern Women Cause Program

The Southern Women Cause Program was developed to show our support for causes that are important to us.

How It Works:

As you are surfing the net (or if you show your support for a worthy cause on your homepage) and you find a cause that is particularly important to you, just let someone on the Cause Committee know the supported cause and the homepage address where you found it. Someone will contact the page owner and will send an email with words of encouragement and support from the Southern Women WebRing along with a graphic for display.

We have several graphics already prepared but don't let this limit your search. If you find an important cause that we don't have a graphic for, we'll make one. The graphic states the cause and shows that Southern Women support this worthwhile cause. The sites chosen have the option to display the graphic on their cause page or not. It's entirely up to the owner. We have cause graphics on a lot of important causes out there including breast cancer awareness, domestic violence issues, animal cruelity, juvenile diabetes, cancer research, education, etc.

Be sure to click on "Cause Graphics" below to see the graphics and the cause pages we have already sent our support to. So as you are searching the net, please, keep our "Southern Women Cause Program" in mind.

Thanks bunches,
MJ

The sites you wish to nominate to the CAUSES PROGRAM do *not* have to be a part of the Southern Women webring, and *any* of our members may nominate a site. So, please, while surfing the net, keep this award in mind. We need your help to applaud/recognize sites that support causes close to your heart.

We only ask that you email a member of the committee with the URL for the page, so that we may preview the site before an award is given. We feel this is appropriate in an attempt to make sure we do not put the Southern Women Webring name on a page that may link to inappropriate material.

Also, we need some volunteers to serve on this committee. Are you game? Thanks and LET'S SURF!!!!!
