"This cause is very dear to me. My son was born critically ill June 8, 1987. After doctors stabilized him at our local hospital he was transferred to All Childrens Hospital Neonatal Unit. He remained there until July 3rd. After his discharge we would spend many more days and trips back to the hospital. I cannot say enough good about the hospital and staff! During one of the worst possible situations a person could go though, they were always there to support us. "

Hugs and Stitches

"It seems there is a need for little knitted or crochet hats for newborns, especially preemies. By keeping their tiny heads nice and cozy, they can use their energy to grow strong instead of using it to keep warm. I love to knit and crochet, so I thought this would be perfect for me to do...... And that's how, in June of 2000, Hugs and Stitches was born. "
