Betty Schaub aka LadyStang, one of our Southern Women and Simply Southern Sisters is a member of this wonderful group. Chemo Angels is a "volunteer group dedicated to adding a ray of sunshine to the lives of those undergoing treatment for cancer. We believe that people who are going through the physical, emotional and mental rigors of chemotherapy, radiation, surgery, or other cancer therapies deserve some pampering and special treatment!" Follow the link above to Betty's site and then follow her link to Chemo Angels. Who knows, you might learn something and you just might be moved to join this group too. Thank you Betty. We're proud of you and all of our Southern Women who support such worthwhile projects!!

"Billy's Dad - William C. Gowacki's Webpage"

Billy is 10 years old and was recently diagnosed with cancer. Our prayers go up for Billy and also for his parents, William and Alicia Gowacki. We also send positive thoughts and well wishes to this family. Visit the web pages by clicking the "Our Journey With Billy" banner or Mr. Gowacki's URL to keep up with Billy's progress and the trials this family is facing.

This information was added on Sunday Sept. 29, 02. Thank you Kathy Jones for allowing us to know of and be involved in the circle of prayers for Billy and his family.

The Cancer Victim Support graphic was sent to "Kaps4Karing" on April 25, 2003. This is such a wonderful program. I'll use their own words to tell you about their site and their program.

"Kaps4Karing was developed by Nancy Overland & Michelle Bridges in 2002. We hope to crochet many caps for chemotherapy patients in the coming years. Our goal is to help those who are living with cancer be more comfortable and confident in themselves. Often cancer patients are selfconsious when they start to loose hair, by donating your time and handmade caps you are assuring them that someone cares about them."

Please visit their web page by clicking on the graphic above and if you can help them in their very worthwhile endeavor, please do so. I know you will be truly blessed!! Thank you Michelle and Nancy. You are to be commended for this wonderful, caring project!!
