****February 2002: I'm not sure why a prison would change its address while staying on the same spot of ground, but UNION CI seems to have done it (so did FSP), even down to a new zip code. It must have cost a fortune to get letter heads ect. changed. Oh well, it may be our dollars but to them, if the money's for nothing and the check's for free, all kinds of things are possible.

Despite what the DOC page does or does not tell you on the website, the zip code for Union CI Death Row is more complicated than the current listed general address of "7819 N.W. 228th Street, Raiford, Florida 32026-4000".

UCI uses the nine digit zip code.  To decide what four digits go after the five digit code takes a little figuring, like this..

 

32026-44xx                          

The last four digits will always begin with 44xx for Union CI.

 

The next digit is what wing they are on. There are 6 wings at UCI for death row.  For instance, P11xx means the prisoner is on Wing 1, 1st Floor, cell xx.

 

Anyone on  Death Row would be '32036-' and the last four digits corresponding to his wing number:

wing one	4410
wing two	4420
wing three	4430
wing four	4440
wing five	4450
wing six	4460

All death row at FSP are 32026-1160
