Directions: From the intersection of US-17 and SR-207 in East Palatka go 0.4 miles south on US-17, exit east on Yelvington Road then 0.2 miles. 

Historical Information: This facility was established in 1936 as a road prison. In 1984 it was converted to a major institution. Currently, it houses minimum, medium custody and limited medical grade inmates. Putnam C.I. provides self-betterment programs.
