Historical Information: This facility was the first private owned facility in Florida to house state inmates under contract with the Department of Corrections. It was established in 1995 to house female offenders. It is designated to accept minimum and medium custody and all medical grade inmates. Gadsden C.F. provides academic, vocational and self betterment programs.

Directions: From I-10 turn north on Hwy 12 (toward Quincy). Institution is located approximately three miles on right.
