I took a look at your site and all I can say is that it looks dated. You need to get up with the times. Nigger Charlie and K-wing slim have been gone for years. Try posting the name Super Jit and see what the inmates think about that officer. Or how about the 4 horseman or young guns from the West Unit of RMC?

"Super Jit / Psycho Jit [was a] young officer at RMC that was transferred to the West Unit over allegations of abuse. Big young guy who regularly put his hands on inmates. Anyone who has been through the West Unit in the last 3 years knows about Super Jit. He beat a guy half to death in the middle of the west unit compound in the middle of chow. Broke the dude's eye socket, skull, jaw, and he about died from it. They had to life flight him to Jacksonville.

"The 4 Horseman" and "The Young Guns" are the same guys, just called different things by different people. The 4 young officers that were on the yard at the west unit were moved around because of so many allegations of abuse."

"Boy the news is getting interesting!  I can't wait until the feds get into the RMC butler unit and start questioning people.  The people stealing the pain killers out of the pharmacy, there's a couple of females that hide behind a female warden's skirt, one female on the list is well known and has been with the DOC about 11 years, (her mom works directly for the assistant warden). She knows who she is because the assistant warden thinks she's goodie two shoes, but all those druggies and the corrupt will being going down.  Little do they know that (I've heard through the grape vine), that they have a list of names of all the user's there too, all the wardens and assistant wardens that have turned the blind eye are gonna crap their pants when the bust start happening.  All the cheaters and fakes will be trying to buy that stuff that covers your urine test.  LOL LOL LOL!  All the LT's horses and all the Sgts men can't protect her when the FEDS come in!  Minimum wage is hard to make it on."

March 2005: "I'm a former employee at RMC for seven years and quit, because I couldn't take the abuse anymore.  If you aren't in the clic your done for.  These people take lunch breaks just to go smoke reefer. And are covered by their supervisors, Not just officers but regular employees, Stay gone as long as they like and not a word is said.  When I questioned it I was chewed out and was treated very bad after. I can tell you right off the bat that drugs use is rampant and I have seen with these two eyes at parties from Majors all the way to classifications, Medical and regular employees doing (Ecstasy) Acid and POT!!!!! WE Need to Drug test these people now and from now on.  Please do not use my name or e-mail I don't need myself or my family hurt.  P.S.  I would love an outside law enforcement to run drug dogs in the housing or parking lot.  They would need a lot of new employees."

"I have worked at RMC as an officer and have seen many people fired for their actions in and out of work but around a month or so [ago] a 15 year Sgt. that still works at RMC by the name of Ken Johns (who at the time also worked at the Union County Jail) was forced to resign from his job at the county jail by the sheriff Mr Whitehead. The sheriff found out that Ken Johns had been letting some of the inmates in the jail leave after hours and go buy crack for him and that he would sit around and smoke the stuff with them. When the sheriff spoke with Ken Johns about this he addmitted it all to the sheriff and was allowed to resign and then he checked himself into a rehab center for a few days. A memo came out at RMC stating that Ken Johns could not come into the institution, which is what we call "cutting the gates" on someone. A few days later Ken Johns was riding around in the Major's state vehicle, out of uniform and has been back ever since IN uniform. i talked to the Reginal Inspector and he stated that it had not been brought to his attention. It seems to me it is getting swept under the rug and kept out of FDLE's hands. I believe if FDLE looked into it he would not have been getting away with it as easily."

I've have had two phone calls and several  emails about a guard on inmate murder at RMC this past week. And that Crosby was there at the prison directly afterward. I am putting this up as a rumor at this time and requesting any information readers can provide. UNNECESSARY BRUTALITY

"On May 9th, 2003, early in the evening, correctional officers beat up a shackled and hand-cuffed prisoner on the patio at NFRC [aka RMC, aka Butler] Main Unit.  The other inmates who happened to see it were threatened by the guards that they would be next, and be beaten to a pulp for watching, they had to cower from the bullies to get out of being beaten themselves for their evil act of seeing and observing the incident through no fault of their own."

UNNECESSARY BRUTALITY CONTINUES

June, 2003: Several weeks ago, a very young inmate at RMC (NFRC-Main Unit) was slapped by a female guard.  His parents came to visit, so he told them about the incident. His parents immediately went to the Captain on duty (they SHOULD have gone to the warden, but they didn't know).  As soon as the parents left, the young inmate was thrown into disciplinary confinement.  The officers cover for their own, and severely punsh anyone who tries to expose them to the public.

Thankfully, the young inmate has now been transferred."

Her kindness, patience and honesty needs to be commended. She truly has a good soul. I am glad for people like her when you know your love ones are touched by a person like her. Without her kindness and knowledge I don't believe I would have made it though the passing of my father as an inmate so smoothly.

In a process of about 4 days I came in contact with quite a few DOC officers and most were real pleasant, but we ran into some that need to be in a different profession. I was dealing with most at a Hospital in Jacksonville Florida and there were some uncalled for situations. I could go into full detail but it wouldn't make much difference.

Once again I would like to praise Rebecca for all that she is and does as a human being.

'K-WING SLIM' and 'NIGGER CHARLIE'

'Nigger Charlie and 'K-Wing Slim' are legends in the department. 'Nigger Charlie', the guard who "stole gold teeth from inmates" at Butler (aka RMC) was mentioned in a story MTWT received about "Kwing Slim". I've appreciated getting the rare note about both of them.  I lost the last update on "Nigger Charlie" when my computer died, but think he was in a motorcycle accident??? Anyway, I was kind of excited to see him show up in a new story written by a man is only identified for the reader as 'Iron Mule Skinner'. Read it at the link below. Kay Lee

I worked with k - wing slim for many years, he was a fine honest officer. Any one who says otherwise is lying or just plain wrong. When I started in the department of corrections, I worked with him, he was my training officer, he had already been in the department for a couple of years. He showed me the correct way to do everything from conducting count to handing out mail. Now about all this handcuffing inmates and pushing them down the stairs I never saw him do that or heard him brag about it. Like you said he had been sick over the past ten years before he retired.  Maybe the medication he had started taking changed his mental state, but otherwise I know he would not have done any of those things.

Dear Mr. McDonough.

It has come to the attention of both MTWT of Florida and Connecticut that there is a major problem with a few of your officers over at RMC. This problem is in need of your immediate attention. Please do NOT blow this off.

Two Officers need to be drug test without warning. These two Officers (C/O Jacob and C/O Meyers) have been seen doing drugs on many different occasions. Is this NOT a medical Unit? Is this the way your officers conduct themselves while on the job and in plan sight for all to see? 

We have also been informed that many of these officers remove their nametags so as not to be identified. In addition, we are aware that the newer uniforms have their names within the material but older uniforms are also used. It has also come to our attention that many prisoners are abused and threatened within this facility.

CO Boyd has been known to threaten many of the elderly prisoners. And many go without their medication for days on end. What type of a place is this? Is this the devils den or what? No, wonder many of the prisoners are in need of mental help after dealing with a place like this.

If this matter is not looked into in a timely manner, I will be forced to take it to a higher level. Both organizations (MTWT-Fl and Connecticut) are calling for an investigation of this facility and the treatment of all its prisoners.
