"Broward Correctional has a new superintendent as of 3/1/01. Please pray that her heart be warmed by the Holy Spirit and that the 3 women on death row be allowed spiritual freedom Through Chaplin visits/Bible studies/visiting churches etc."
This facility was established in 1977, originally to house male inmates; however, only female inmates have resided here. Currently it houses female inmates, including those on death row.
