Sometimes there are no answers,
For the things one most endure,
Questions can be asked and asked,
But no one knows for sure.
The Lord's eyes are always watching,
He feels our anguish and pain,
He's always there to comfort us,
When our tears flow like rain.
Sometimes our ears may not hear Him,
And our eyes many not see His face,
But His Word echoes His closeness,
With His love, mercy and grace.
He has blissful peace to give freely,
And although we won't truly understand,
It will give us strength to continue,
As we cling to His fatherly hand.
