A R.O.S.E. EVERYDAY

A  R.O.S.E. EVERYDAY

I lay one right beside my bed,

Each and every night,

And place one by my breakfast plate,

At dawns early light.

I carry one in my pocket,

Throughout each and every day,

And have to move it often,

When it gets in my way.

I put one in the family room,

For everyone to see,

And dust it each and everyday,

Religiously on bended knees.

Each and every Sunday,

I tote one into church,

Hold it open on my lap,

It's really lot of work.

So, I don't understand it,

Why  nothing goes my way,

Cause I keep one close beside me,
Each and everyday!

What else is there that I can do?

This has gone on too long,

And with so many bibles,

What am I doing wrong?
