A PRAYER FOR YOU ©
A prayer was said for you today,
But, you probably didn't know.
It went before the throne of God,
From someone who loves you so.
They placed their knees upon the ground,
With folded hands they bowed down low.
The plea came from a saddened heart,
As their tears began to flow.
God saw the tears and felt the pain,
That was grieving one of His own,
And listened very carefully,
As His glory around Him shone.
He said, "I want so much to help,
But it's really left up to them,
For they have walked away from me,
And their future is looking grim."
"I, too, am grieved in My Spirit,
For them My son's death was in vain.
They can't see the cross of suffering,
Where His body wrenched in pain."
They look deep into life's mirror.
Their reflection is all that they see.
Blinded to the needs of others,
Their world consists of "me, me, me!"
"Perhaps before life's breath is gone,
They will have time to repent.
But, sin cannot enter heaven,
And to Hell their soul will be sent."
Please hear the plea of those who pray.
Do you know why they even care?
Because you are truly worth it,
And heaven is meant to be shared.
