455 cubic inches with a 400 Block

Here is another “Affordable and Dependable” shortblock assembly. I use a "New" 455 Eagle Cast/Steel crankshaft in a select 400 2 bolt block. Less frictional crankshaft mass to move. Allowing a stronger, beefier, thicker main webbing area. You now have a 3" main compared to a 3.25" 455 main. All New parts.

** Select 400 2-bolt block w/ the Dude's conversion 455/400Main bearing kit
** Block & Lifer bore area deburred.
** Bottom hard filled below center freeze plug.

** Bored & honed .030/.040 or .060 over with torque plates

** New 455 Eagle crank (Mains cut down to fit the 400 block)
