Pittsburgh
The place to be for rivers, bridges, steel, beer, and mountains. A pretty nice city. Some of it is fairly ghetto, but don't let that put you off. Lots of nice buildings downtown: USX building, PPG Place, and MellonBank Tower. The view from Mount Washington is fantastic and well-worth the (for some) scary ride in ancient wooden boxes up the incline. Watch out for the locals, though, they tend to be a bit "nebby" (which apparently means nosy).
