A surprisingly nice, though small, city in central Connecticut. Though much of the area immediately surrounding the city is very ghetto-like, downtown and the area around the capital are fun. It has a large park surrounding the mansion-like Connecticut state capital and a European-looking arch to commemorate the dead of the Civil War. Also, the home of literary figures such as Mark Twain and Harriet Beecher Stowe, the city has a fairly rich history. It'll keep you amused for a few days.
