Mark Beaty of Rochester, NY is interested in making a 52" model of the 52' Motor Life Boat. He will make it radio controlled and test it for stability in the surf to verify that it will not capsize. This was written in the specifications when the design was approved.The full scale boat has twin screws but he probably will only use on motor and a single screw.
There is a UK company that makes an earlier version of the US Coast Guard's vessels. One is of a 44' predecessor.
