He took hold of her hand as they walked the narrow road leading to the docks. The moon with it's soft glowing light lit the way only partially obstructed by the newly budded leaves on the trees. The gentle breeze of the cool crisp air left a slight sting on their faces on this early April evening. "I have something to show you", he said.It wasn't long before they came upon the docks. He pulled her along like a small child, begging her to hurry. "Look up", he said as he pointed towards the heavens. It was the most beautiful site she had ever seen. A million stars covered the sky. There were no street lights from the city that kept a person from seeing the true beauty of a midnight sky. She grasped the hard wood of the dock ledge as she spied upward. It was a crystal clear picture. You could almost see the colors illuminate in each and every twinkling star. From behind her he wrapped his arms around her waist to steady her. Whispering in her ear he softly said "I knew you would love this". She could feel the pleasing smile on his face as he gently kissed the back of her neck. Her arms crossed over his pulling him closer to her. All was quiet with the exception of small crashes of water on the sandy beach below. A streak of light flashed across the sky and with that she made her wish and turned to face him. "You have made every dream come true for me" she said. "I am so very happy...I love you". Holding each other tightly, they pledged their love for each other. The man in the moon smiled down upon them as they softly kissed before its magical glow.
