At the
19 December 2000 the Museum Hannover-
Laatzen present
the
Fw190 A-8 for the public.
Over 80 workers
have restore 8 years this first
original Fw19o in
Germany.
Some interesting
details show us this beautiful craft.
The
"ETC 500" restored out of different
original parts.
The
restored original engine restored by
MTU Maintance Hannover.
Its the
only factory new BMW 801 engine.
The
complete cowler are still from the
original craft.
The
lacquer is may by "Farben- Kiroff" in
Fürth/ Germany under the RLM scheme.
The
"yellow 11" was flown by Fw. Bindseil
from the 6./ Jg1 in Sörmende, spring
1944.
You can
see the red ribbon as marking for the
JG1 with the banner as sign of the
second group.
With
this craft in this configuration, Fw
Bindseil have could down a B- 17 at
the 28. Mai 1944.
